Overview

Mongolia is one of the world’s last unspoilt destinations. It is a land of mystery, of extremes, of immeasurable space, where shamanism is still practised and people hunt with eagles. This is a land as diverse as it is dramatic, from the rugged mountains and dense forests of the north, to the lush grasslands of the central plains and the rolling desert dunes of the south. This is a land where culture, history and landscape are inextricably entwined, where nomadic herders still roam the vast steppe as they have since the time of Genghis Khan, and where the hospitality of its people is as boundless as its terrain.

Itinerary
Day-1.Visit to Mongolian "Oasis" called Bayan Gobi
Drive to Bayan Gobi sand dunes – surrounded by hills with willow trees, streams and bushes, and appear as a small desert in the center of the country. This sand dune is 80km long and the widest part of the sand dune is 9-10 km. After some time of refreshment in the Ger camp, we will visit local camel herder family in their Ger, explore their unique nomadic lifestyle. Also, we have lunch with them. Its chance to try drinking Hormog (fermented Mongolian camel milk). The sand dunes are the perfect place for camel riding. We will discover this magnificent place on camel back. And we will do horse riding and camel riding. Overnight in Ger camp ( B L D )
Day-2.See Mysterious Runes From Mongolian Old Capital Kharkhorin and Visit Erdenezuu Monastery
It’s another day of scenic travel before resting in a ger next to an ancient monastery and old capital. One of the largest Buddhist monastic centres in Mongolia, the Monastery of Erdenezuu is a truly spectacular sight, with Chinese, Mongolian, and Tibetan-influenced architecture. The grounds sit in the middle of vast plains, with great views of the Mongolian steppes and the Orkhon Valley. At almost 450-years-old, the monastery is also a historically-important landmark — it’s one of the rare monasteries that avoided complete destruction by the Soviets during the 1937 Stalinist purges. Overnight in Ger camp ( B L D )
