Overview

Mongolia is one of the world’s last unspoilt destinations. It is a land of mystery, of extremes, of immeasurable space, where shamanism is still practised and people hunt with eagles. This is a land as diverse as it is dramatic, from the rugged mountains and dense forests of the north, to the lush grasslands of the central plains and the rolling desert dunes of the south. This is a land where culture, history and landscape are inextricably entwined, where nomadic herders still roam the vast steppe as they have since the time of Genghis Khan, and where the hospitality of its people is as boundless as its terrain.

Itinerary

Day-1.Hustai National Park

The 90,000 hectare Hustain Huruu National Park, set 60 miles southwest of Ulaanbaatar, is home to the world's only naturally surviving wild horse. The Przewalski horse (or takhi in Mongolian) has been successfully reintroduced into the wild and has a light yellow coat and a short, stiff black mane. Each horse is approximately 250cm long, 146cm tall and weighs on average 300kg. Hustai has unique landscape that features mountain steppe and steppe, also there are sand dunes representing Gobi of Mongolia and River wetlands. National park has 450 species of vascular plants, 200 of which are medicinal. On the territory of Hustai National Park and it is butter zone there are many historical there are many historical monument ensemble of Ungut- famous with it is large number of man like figures, which belongs to 6-8 th century AD and many other sepultures, rectangular tombs and the ruin of old monastery. Early in the morning our driver and guide will pick up you and drive to Hustai National Park and will visit to the National Park’s office to watch the museum and short film about the Wild horses and then will continue driving into the national park to see the Wild horses and after we will do horse riding. Then drive back to UB. Overnight in ( L )
