• Ice festival tour to Orkhon valley

This dreamt experiencing festival happens in coldest winter. And it is possible to see a mystery of how nomads survive with their 5 snouts of pastoral animals within temperature as drops as -30 degrees. And also extraordinary experience as riding Mongolian horse or camel in the snow covered vast white steppe and stay with hospitable nomads in their traditional cultures. The ice to skate usually freezes about 1.5 meter thick in Mongolia during its silver season.

Day 1 Semi Dessert – Elsen tasarkhai “Khogno khan Natural Reserve”

After breakfast we will drive to Semi Gobi. Will do Camel riding here. Khogno Khan mountain Natural Reserve it is about 1967m peak area. This area has unique combination of Mongolian mountain, forest and Gobi type landscape in one location. That’s why this area is called Semi Gobi by the locals. Overnight in a local nomad family

Day 2 Orkhon Waterfall

We will visit to Uurt gorge,  Orkhon river, and the Red waterfall in Orkhon valley.
The red waterfall is situated in historically significant  Orkhon valley, whose river flows an incredible 1120 km to the north before it joins the  Selenge  river. Also called Ulaantsutgalan, the waterfall was formed by unique combination of volcanic eruptions and earthquakes about 20000  years ago.  Overnight in a Ger camp 

Day 3 Second day at the Orkhon Waterfall

This day is no driving and practicing for the horse riding. You will ride a horse around 3-4 hours. Your destination for your riding will be the Deer stone. Overnight in a Ger camp 

Day 4 Kharkhorin – Erdene Zuu Monastery

Early morning we will start drive to Kharkhorin ancient capital city and will visit to the Erdene Zuu Monastery. It’s a ancient capital city called kharkhorin where developed Kharakhorum capital of Great Mongolian Empire in 13th century. Explore Erdene Zuu Monastery Musuem. It is a biggest Buddhist center in medieval ages and it was closed and badly damaged in 1930s. Visit to some other sightseeing. Overnight in a Ger camp 

Day 5 Back to UB via Hustai National Park

It takes its name from birch trees growing in surrounding mountain forests. In Mongolia Hustai means “with rich” and Nuruu means “mountain”. In 1993, Hustai Nuruu was upgraded from protected area status to reserve status and conservation measures were strengthened. In 1998, The area’s status was upgraded once more and Hustai Nuruu Reserve became Hustai National Park.
