• Explore a Nomad Life in Khovsgol Lake Tour

This region is an agricultural and industrial important zone of Mongolia. Tsaatan ethnic groups of Mongolia live in this region. There are many protected areas which is possible to visit. North Mongolia is a main travel destination of Mongolia. The highlight of Mongolia’s northern provinces, an alpine region bordering the forests of Siberia, is pristine Lake Huvsgul, known as Mongolia’s “Dark Blue Pearl”. Believed to be several million years old, Mongolia’s deepest freshwater lake is surrounded by cozens of small rivers and streams that empty into its waters, pristine taiga forest and valleys and meadows rich with wildflowers. This region is home of Darkhad people and it stretches of around 100km between Khoridol Saridag and Ulaantaiga mountains, beautiful Sangiin dalai lake. Also it’s the home of Shamanism.

Day 1 Wild life in a Nomad family

Today we will drive through Ogii lake and stay in between Ogii lake and Hanui river. Khanui river is flows down through the valleys of the Khangai Mountains in central Mongolia.It starts in the Chuluut sum of Arkhangai aimag at the north slopes of the Khan-Ondor mountain. It passes next to the center of Erdenemandal soum, and ends in the Khishig-Öndör soum of Bulgan aimag where it discharges into the Selenge.Overnight in a Ger camp 

Day 2 Khovsgol lake

Early in the morning we will drive to great Khovsgol lake. The lake is the second fresh water lake in Asia and second large lake in Mongolia with its 136 km long and 36 km wide and 264 meter deep. Overnight in a Ger camp 

Day 3 Second day at Khovsgol lake

This day is no driving, relaxing and will do horse riding or hiking around the Lake “Khovsgol”. Overnight in a Ger camp

Day 4 Uran togoo volcanic crater

Our destination for today is Uran togoo. Its about 60 kilometer directly west of Bulgan city is the extinct volcano of Uran Uul and nearby Togoo Uul, now part of the 1600 hectare Uran Togoo-Tulga Uul natural reserve in the village of Khutag-Ondor. Trial to the top of the relatively unimpressive volcano lead up from the west side, which also have some nice camping areas. The Uran Togoo-Tulga Uul national monument is a national protected area in the Bulgan province. This mountain ranks as 4th highest mountain and its protected in 1965. In 1995, it was designated as a monument by Parliament Resolution with an area of 5800 hectares. Overnight in a Ger camp 

Day 5 Amarbayasgalant Monastery

At the end of the day visit to “Amarbayasgalant” monastery and enjoy the other nice monuments. It is ever beautiful and hidden jewel known as Amarbayasgalant monastery which is situated in the Iven river valley. The monastery was established in 1727-1736 in memory of Undur Gegeen Zanabazar at the order of the Manchurian emperor. Overnight in a Ger camp 

Day 6 Back to UB

Today we will head to UB city. We will have a lunch on the way
