• Khovsgol lake

Khovsgollake is Mongolian second biggest lake with fresh water. The lake is about 136 kilometer long 39 kilometer wide and the deepest point is 264 meter. It is one of the 17 ancient lakes worldwide more than 2 million years old. Only Eg river flows out from Khovsgollake and 111 river flows into Khovsgol lake. Area of lake is 2760 kilometer and its 1645 meter above the sea level and frozen from January until April or May. Here you can see ice festival in winter.
